Morag Clinton, BVMS PhD

The business Fish Health & Pathology LLC conducts  research that addresses important questions regarding the impacts of infectious and non-infectious stressors on aquatic animals in Alaskan waters and beyond through integration of molecular, histological, and clinical approaches to the study of fish health. Fish Health & Pathology LLC collaborates with many state, federal, Tribal, and academic agencies to meet these research goals as an independent contractor.

Fish Health & Pathology LLC is owned and operated by Dr Morag Clinton; Veterinarian, Aquatic Animal Pathologist, and Fish Health Researcher. ​ Morag has previously held roles as a Veterinary Aquatic Pathologist, working for the aquaculture group Mowi Scotland, as an Assistant Professor in Veterinary Anatomy. 

Morag is currently engaged in work for Fish Health & Pathology LLC, as well as holding positions are a Research Scientist with the Sitka Sound Science Center (non-profit group and fish hatchery) and a Research Scientist at the Center for Alaska Native Health Research (CANHR) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
